Berry Patch Grad

My little baby is growing up. Yay and boo all at the same time. Leyton "graduated" from Berry Patch preschool today and will be heading to kindergarten in the fall. Ms. Sheryl put on a cute little graduation ceremony for the class with ice cream treats after. It was a fun morning celebrating these sweet kiddos! The good news is that half of his class will be joining him at the same school this fall, so he is certain to see many of his friends again. :)

At the beginning of the ceremony, Ms. Sheryl had the kids take us thru their morning calendar routine, with different students getting up in front to lead the different parts. Then she called each student's name and had them walk across the "stage" to receive their diplomas. She gave a little speech about each student, and no surprise, Leyton was labeled as a lover. He does seem to have every girl in the class wrapped around his fingers, so that was no shocker to us. :)

After ice cream, Leyton decided the class needed to have a dance party. So they did! He's kind of bossy like that. :) I think he just wanted one last dance with Maddie before he had to say goodbye!

Congrats to our little grad! We are so proud of you and can't wait to see what the future holds!
