Thanksgiving on the Slopes

Brad took Brody and Leyton on a boys' only trip to Colorado over Thanksgiving break, and they had the time of their lives. They were gone for four nights and planned to spend three days on the slopes, one day in Arapahoe Basin and two days in Keystone. Unfortunately, Brody was hit with altitude sickness on the first day, so they had to take a day off while he recovered. But no matter, they still had a fabulous time sightseeing and going to the movies. By the third day, he was back in business and ready to hit the slopes again. I'm so glad they were able to take this trip together--what a fun time of boy stuff and bonding they were able to have!

Meanwhile, back in Minneapolis, I spent a fun few days with my two littles. We met friends for lunch and did a little shopping. We bought our turkey and worked on getting our Thanksgiving dishes prepped. And on Thursday afternoon, we headed out to the airport to pick up our big boys and came home to a delicious Thanksgiving feast!
