Today you turned 6 years old!! Can you believe it? You are such a big boy now in so many ways. For one, this mama can barely lift you anymore. When did you get so tall? We tell you that you are getting big because you eat all your vegetables, and it must be true. You are a great eater and a strong and thriving little man. You're also a big helper. You are a great big brother and love to help out with Leyton and Callan. Almost every morning you run to Cal's crib, lift him out, and bring him to cuddle with Mommy. I love it! You are also helpful with making breakfast, feeding the dog, and many other chores that I ask you to do. I love that you can be so responsible, and it's fun to watch you feel proud when you help!
Today, on your sixth birthday, we were lucky to have Oma visiting. We had a great day together! Of course, you couldn't wait to tear into your gifts first thing this morning, and what a bunch of cool stuff you received from everyone--GoGo's, a Lego ghost train, and an awesome light-up remote control car just to name a few.

After breakfast, we headed to the Como Zoo and Come Town for some outdoor fun. We zipped right through the zoo so we could take in all the rides. Crazily enough, we had never been to Como Town before, so it was a fun new experience for all of us. You had a blast, and I am sure you will be begging me to take you back there again soon. :)

We ended the day with a yummy dinner at home followed by your favorite cupcakes, red velvet with cream cheese frosting. It couldn't have been a more perfect day, and I hope you have fond memories of it as you grow up. Happiest of Birthdays to our Amazing Brody, and may your next year bring the best of new adventures your way. We love you so very much!
