Callan's Robot Party!

We celebrated Callan's 2nd birthday with a fun-filled Robot party at Linden Hills Park! This Robot party was a long time coming. Well over a year ago, I found a picture of a robot created from cupcakes in a Family Fun magazine.  Once I laid eyes on that cake, I knew that somebody at some point would have a Robot birthday party.  And, since Callan is still too young to decide what kind of party he wanted, he was the chosen one!  I don't think he minded! :)

I found an adorable Robot party collection on etsy featuring aqua and orange, my colors of choice. An invite, party banner, thank you cards, and other goodies came with the design, and it was the perfect way to showcase our Robot theme!

Since the party was in the park, we decided to do some simple snacks for the guests that were easily transportable.  Gears (ritz crackers,) Computer Chips (potato chips,) Nuts & Bolts (pretzel and cheerio trail mix,) and Machine Oil (bottled water and juice boxes) were set out on the table along with some dipped oreos and the yummy cupcake creation.

The guests had a great time playing in the park, and Callan did what he does best---run, climb, jump, and MOVE!

He stopped for a quick minute to let us sing Happy Birthday and to enjoy the candy on his cupcake, but then he was off again!

We sent the guests home with goodie bags filled with gummy rings, robot puzzle candy, a lollipop, and an adorable robot ornament.

Thanks to our friends who were able to join us for this special celebration! (Of course, I never remember to take pictures of all the guests, but here are a few.)
