Berry Patch Spring Concert

Last night was Brody's preschool spring concert. As you might remember from video clips past, he had a Christmas concert back in December and only lasted through the first two songs before he was done. I wondered if he would make it through all the songs this time, and I was very pleasantly surprised to see that he did! He did such a good job! Brad wasn't able to attend, so I really wanted to catch some good videos for him to see his biggest man in action. Unfortunately, that was easier said than done. With one baby on my hip sticking his hands down my shirt and wiggling constantly, and another baby in my belly jabbing me here and there, my videos came out quite wobbly. But I think you can still see how well Brody did. His motivation? The cookie that came at the end of the performance!

The funniest thing about the show was that Brody and I had a "talk" about how it was a nice evening and he had to wear a button down shirt with a belt. He kind of knows this drill, so I knew he would understand. While standing up in the front row, however, he realized his shirt had come out of his pants, so he hastily tried stuffing it back in. It was really cute to watch him try so hard to keep that shirt in his pants so he would look nice. It didn't work, but it was great to watch!
