Boy vs. Raspberry Bush

We love our raspberry bushes.  Ok, that might be an exaggeration.  We love them when they are actively producing tons of juicy raspberries for us to eat.  During the remaining 9 months of the year, we think they are the most hideous things we've ever seen and we want to rip them out of our yard and plant something else.

During the past two weeks, we've been getting lots of yummy raspberries, about this much every other day:

That makes us happy. :)

BUT, when Brody tripped on the retaining wall while helping me pick them yesterday and fell headfirst into the raspberry bushes, we were very sad.  Poor Brody!  I guess you just don't mess with a bush covered in brambles and thorns.
