Brad's parents stayed at their home in Texas for Christmas this year, so we thought it would be fun to head out to the ranch for a night or two to visit them. They own a beautiful piece of property in the hill country, and it's always fun for all of us to visit and be "cowboys," as my kids like to say.
Before leaving for Texas, they came up for a short visit, and we had our Christmas together. Grandpa finally got to meet Emmeline for the first time!

Once in Texas, Emmeline and I ended up staying back in Taylor to spend an extra day with my sisters. My sis Allyson is getting married in June, so we worked on getting her registry set up. We also had some "girl time" together, which was really fun!
At the ranch, the boys had a blast. They loved checking out the horses...
and they got to have dinner at one of our favorite places, The Salt Lick!
