When Aunt Kelli and Uncle Jeff arrived on Saturday afternoon, it was time for the Matthys Family Christmas. Yay! It's so fun to have Christmas with a house full of kids, and this year there were two more babies with Miss Emmeline and my sweet nephew Keaton. The boys received some fun gifts that they were super excited about, like a dino excavation kit, a ladybug village, and a superman robot! Thanks Grandaddy and Grandma!
On Sunday, we headed over to Michael and Margaret's house for the Miller Christmas. My dad started the tradition long ago of reading
Cajun Night Before Christmas, and it's pretty hilarious. We also sing (or butcher) Christmas carols, including a couple in German. My boys love these traditions, and it was fun to be a part of them again this year.

On Monday, my boys headed off for Dripping Springs for a short visit with Grandma and Grandpa Smith. E and I stayed back for one more day with my family. I was really thankful to get one last day with my sisters. I miss them all so much!
