Look What We Found!

When Grandma and Grandpa Smith were last here for a visit, Grandma took Brody and Leyton to a sculptor's studio in town. A few years ago, they had commissioned the sculptor to make a rabbit statue for their garden in Texas. This time, they were having him make a fox to "hunt" the rabbit. Grandma decided to take the boys to visit the studio so they could lear about the process the artist uses to complete his projects. While there, they were able to see some of his works in progress, and they came home excited to tell us all about everything they learned! Imagine our surprise when we were walking around Centennial Lakes and saw this little guy! The kids recognized him right away as one of the sculptures that the artist had been working on that day in his studio. They were so excited to see it completed and on display. Thanks for the fun field trip, Grandma Smith! We will always remember it whenever we see this little guy and his airplane.
