Our Easter started bright and early at 6 am this year! Have I mentioned that I have a little boy who just can't sleep in on holidays? The excitement is too much for him, so he gets us all up very early on special days...as witnessed in the photo below.
We might have to start a new tradition of inviting the Easter Bunny to leave eggs and treats after we go to church. :) In any event, we were up and at 'em at the crack of dawn, ready to check out our Easter baskets!

Did I say it's never too early for chocolate?
Then it was time to head outside for the big hunt. Brad insisted on letting Emmeline have a head start so that she could find a few eggs before her brothers took them all. She didn't really get it at first.

Then they posed for one of the cutest pictures ever.
Thank goodness I took that last one because they really weren't cooperating when dressed in their Sunday best. This was the best I could get!
We had a very happy Easter, despite Emmeline looking quite the opposite. Happy last Easter in this house and on to new adventures!
