It's a Hockey World

Sometimes it seems like it's all hockey, all the time around here. Emmeline even runs around with a hockey stick in hand yelling, "Hockey! Hockey!" This Texas mama has learned more than I ever thought I would about the sport, and I have to say I think our family picked a good one. :) It's certainly not boring!

I have no idea where those pictures were taken...just found them on Brad's phone and thought they were cute. :)

We have enjoyed season tickets to the Gopher hockey games the past two seasons. We purchased two seats and split the season with another couple.  Our seats are amazing, and the games are really fun. Brad usually takes Brody, but he makes sure to bring Leyton, Cal, and me to at least one game each year.

Brody attended the high school hockey state play-offs to root for the Edina Hornets. They won, and after the game as they were leaving, he asked the goalie to give him his hockey stick and he DID! So now we are the proud owners of a game-used Edina Hornets goalie stick. It is one of Brody's most prized possessions.

Gotta run. It's time for hockey practice!
