Days with Grandaddy and Grandma

After the wedding weekend, we headed to Taylor for a few days of relaxation with Grandaddy and Grandma. We had a great three days together, soaking up the sun, relaxing on the patio, and making fun memories!

The first day we headed into Austin for a little visit to Barton Springs Pool. Brad and I hadn't been there in over ten years, and the rest of the gang had never been, so it was a fun experience for us all. Everyone had a great time, and although I still think swimming in that water is crazy (it's too cold for me,) just hanging out on the grassy hill and watching everyone splash and play was fun in itself. Emme wholeheartedly agreed.

The next day, the big boys and Aunt Allyson headed out to Lake Buchanan for a guided fishing trip. They limited out in two hours and we had a TON of fish for a good ole fish fry that night.

Meanwhile, the rest of us took a little trip to the park to play and feed the ducks.

Lots of time was spent in the pool in Grandaddy and Grandma's backyard. It was a perfect way to cool off in the hot Texas sun!

Brody spent all three days hoping to catch a lizard, and on the last day he was finally successful!

Thanks for letting us hang out with you, Grandaddy and Grandma! We had a blast!
