I can't imagine many places that actually have a parade in the middle of winter, but the Holidazzle Parade is a Minneapolis tradition. It's so beautiful and magical and everything this time of year should be. We look forward to it every year, and it never disappoints. By now, we know all of our favorite floats, and we wait with anticipation for each one to come by. We know when to shout "Spin" to the snowman and when to expect the scary witch to pass by. This year I added to the fun by thinking ahead and purchasing a few glow necklaces from the Target dollar bin. The boys loved them, and they provided a little something to play with during the parade as well as prevented them from pestering us to buy them one of the overpriced flashing light-up thingamajigs they sell there. As you can tell from Callan's face, this is a can't miss event for our family!
