Our little preschool sweeties had their Christmas concert tonight, and after practicing "Turkey Dinner" at home for weeks, they were ready to perform! This was Callan's first year up onstage, and he did great. I was a little worried about him singing Jingle Bells since he actually believes the words are "Jingle bells, Batman smells, Robin laid an egg," but when it came down to it, he didn't really sing at all, so there was no mangling the words. :) The fact that he actually stayed on the stage for the entire performance was success enough in my eyes. He is one of the youngest in the class, plus he's a boy, so standing in a line and staying still for any length of time is something we are still working on.

Mr. Leyton was all smiles for the show. He loved being on the stage, singing, and doing the hand motions for the songs. We have a budding artist on our hands, no doubt.
