Dads & Donuts & Mommies, Too!

Today was Dads & Donuts at Berry Patch.  It was also the first day of Brad's new job and the day that I had offered to bring our friend Kate to school.  So, instead of two daddies showing up, Leyton, Callan, and Kate got stuck with me.

I don't think they minded...

I can guarantee Brad would never have let them "shave" him.  He hates anything on his face.

I had to split up my time between Leyton's room and Callan's room.  In Callan's classroom, they used shaving cream to paint instead of shave.  Thank goodness!  I don't think I could have endured that a second time.

Then it was time for the fire truck! 

Brad was able to leave work for a few minutes to stop in right at the good part--the donuts!  Although I didn't get a pic of the boys with their Dad, I know they were happy to have him there. :)
