It had been a couple years since we last checked out the MN Renaissance Festival, so we decided to head out for some medieval fun this weekend. It did not disappoint. The kids absolutely loved it! They dressed up for the festivities, Brody as a knight, Leyton as a king, and Callan as a little pirate. From wand making, to sword fighting, to elephant/llama rides, to archery, they couldn't have had more fun. The best part of the day? Chocolate covered cheesecake on a stick! The worst part? Not getting to see Twig, my favorite fairy. Oh well, there's always next year!
