The dinosaurs have come to town for the summer, and we couldn't wait to get a glimpse of our favorite giant reptiles! We headed out to the zoo for a day of fun, my boys so excited they could hardly wait. As we started walking up the path to the exhibit, it started getting a little steamy, and just as we got to the gate, one of the dinos looking over the fence sent out a large jet spray of water that landed right on us! And, that was it! Leyton and Callan were pretty much done before we even set foot inside. Brody, on the other hand, absolutely loved every second of it and can't wait to go back. I had to practically drag Leyton through the entire exhibit, and Callan just sat in the stroller and whimpered. Poor things! The dinos were very realistic, roaring and moving their heads, and the woodsy surroundings with lots of ferns and vegetation and real steam that oozed out along the trail definitely set the tone. Brody and I thought it was great, but it was just a tad too real for the littler ones. We're contemplating going back in a few weeks, but Leyton says he'll just stay at home!
