(If you looked closely at our Christmas card this year, you'll get my "joke" above. I made a little error, almost unnoticeable, but definitely there if you can spot it!)
The kids were up bright and early on Christmas morning for some gift wrap destruction!! Brody was pretty excited that Santa paid attention when he asked for a Leapster. Callan thought the paper and bows were fun to play with. And the hit for Leyton this year was the Nutcracker doll that Santa hastily picked up at the Target dollar bin! (Good job, Santa! You rock!)
Does that smile give away his excitement?
Lovin' the stocking stuffers
Reptile puppets for lots of indoor puppet shows. These are great!
Concentrating on his present
A little too much Christmas, Leyton?
Woohoo! A digital camera--now he's stopped snatching ours!
Opening presents is hard work! (not sure why this is turned sideways)
Cute boys showing off their new robes!
After cleaning up our destruction zone and ourselves a little bit, we headed over to Andrew and Jill's to spend the day together. They did a fabulous job whipping up a great Christmas feast, and the boys loved spending time with their cousins, Ansel and Isabel.
A happy family with one grumpy little elf!
The boys w/ Grandma and Grandpa
Kids are digging into Christmas dinner!
Merry Christmas from the Smith Family
Ansel helped Brody with his new lego sets
Leyton found all of Izzy's dress-up clothes!
Happy first Christmas, Baby Callan!
Thank you to everyone for the wonderful Christmas gifts. As usual, we received more than we could possibly deserve! Rest assured that the kids love everything, and we are enjoying all our new things as we sit inside during these long winter days. Hope your Christmas was merry and bright!
