The Smith family always looks forward to the Minnesota State Fair, and this year was no exception. Yes, we have two busy toddlers and a four week old baby, but that didn't stop us from heading out to see the sights and feast on our favorite fried creations. It was a perfect day weather-wise, and although it was quite crowded, we were able to see everything we wanted to see and eat everything (and then some) that we wanted to eat. LOVE the fair!
Poor Leyton spent a good portion of the day sleeping in the stroller. We didn't realize he was coming down with Hand Foot and Mouth Disease, or what we like to call Ear Hoof and Horn. :) (It's also called CoxSackie, which I think is even worse!) Thankfully the other two were spared this illness, but poor little L wasn't feeling very good that day.
Brody and Leyton always enjoy sitting on all the big tractors that are on display. Leyton woke up and was ready for some action when we arrived at this area of the fair!
The "Little Farmhands" area is also a big hit every year. They love to ride the tractors, plant seeds, milk the cow, and collect eggs.
Everyone loves to see the animals at the State Fair. My favorites are the pigs, of course. Brody likes the horses and Leyton loves the bunnies. I think Brad likes the goats, although we weren't so sure about the goat with no ears. We're not sure what Callan likes yet. He pretty much slept through his entire first day at the fair--I had to take a picture of him in the stroller just to prove he was there!

Already looking forward to next year's fun at the fair!
