35 Weeks and Counting!

I have been so lax in giving any pregnancy updates this time around and even more so in taking any belly shots. I guess I figure you guys have all seen it before--nothing much new to report the third time around. I am really lucky to have had an uneventful pregnancy so far, and I hope that the next five weeks bring more of the same, ending with a quick and easy delivery of our new baby boy!

We are all getting super excited around here. Brody and Leyton love to pat and kiss my belly, and Brody thinks it's funny when the baby moves around and you can see it from the outside. We are settling down on a name, I think, and if we could just decide the middle name we'd be all set! It has been really nice to not have to think or worry about redoing a nursery--no painting or new furniture or anything like that. Leyton's old room is all set for the new baby, and L is doing great in the room with Brody. They love being together! That was an easier transition than I could have thought, and I love watching how excited they are to be in their own big boy room! It's nice to have all the baby gear and plenty of clothes ready to go, but I am slowly adding a few things to my Amazon wishlist that I would love to have this time around, even if I end up buying it all myself! Anything to make life easier, especially with three!

I feel heavy but great! I'm trying to enjoy every bit of summer that I can before the little one decides to make his appearance. Still really hoping that he'll come in July, and not a week late like his brothers! I am technically supposed to be going to the doctor every two weeks at this point, but since I am considered a low-risk pregnancy and haven't experienced any complications thus far, my doctor suggested that I come in every three weeks instead. That has been nice, but next week will start the once a week appointments that signal the end is near! Yikes! I can't believe there is only a month, more or less, to go! I get a bit nervous when I think about having to go thru labor again--not that it was terrible last time--but you never know what will happen. Every pregnancy and delivery is different. I am just praying for a repeat of my experience with Leyton, except for the late part!

Here is a picture of mama and her three boys, snuggling on the couch. These two already love their baby brother so much!
