We had a lovely Easter here in Minneapolis. The weather was just perfect, and we thoroughly enjoyed our gorgeous day! The boys woke up to find their Easter baskets waiting on the steps, filled to the brim with treats and toys. After a breakfast of blueberry pancakes, we headed outside to see what the Easter bunny left us. This was right after we happened to watch a crazy squirrel steal a plastic egg from our yard and chew it to bits to get to the candy inside. We have some crazy critters living around here! Brody and Leyton loved their egg hunt. We had a mixture of plastic eggs, real eggs, and cascarones (confetti eggs) that Grandma and Grandpa sent from Texas. Brody figured out what to do with the cascarones very quickly, but Leyton just wanted to pick up the leftover confetti off the ground and put it in his own hair! After our egg hunt, we headed off to Church and then had brunch at yummy Cafe 28. We spent the afternoon playing outside and walking around the neighborhood, soaking up the warm sun and enjoying our time together. Hope your Easter was a wonderful day, too!
