I went to the doctor this week for my 24 week appointment with Baby #3. It was fairly uneventful, although we did get to take a peek at the little guy to make sure his spine was normal. Everything looked great, and he was moving up a storm! It's so amazing to feel a baby move inside your belly. I don't think the awe and wonder of it lessens at all the more babies you have. I have been just as captivated by all the little twitches and jabs with this pregnancy as I was with both of my other pregnancies. As always, I wish my belly was like a fish bowl so I could see what he's up to in there. I have gained about five pounds in the last month, which seems like a lot to me, but it's really quite normal. I'm blaming it all on the tasty food we ate while on vacation! Next month, I'll have to have the glucose test which means a fabulous sugar-filled cocktail for breakfast! Can't wait for that...
We are getting ready to move Leyton into Brody's room so that we have lots of time to make the transition before the baby's arrival. Thankfully, we have Brody's convertible bed that we are going to convert back into a crib for Leyton, and we will buy Brody a new toddler bed. I anticipate it will be a fairly smooth transition as both boys were in the same room during our vacation, and they did fine. I think they actually enjoyed having the other in the same room, so I think it will be great.
I can't believe we have less than four months to go!

Baby's face looking right at us!
