California 2010--Days 5&6

On our last day in Healdsburg, we took a beautiful drive to the town of Calistoga, where we walked around and had lunch. Then we sent Joe with all the boys except Leyton to a bbq/dance party and the rest of us headed to Hanna Winery. The views there were simply breathtaking, and I could have sat on that patio for hours just taking it all in! It was a great way to end our time in the wine country, but now I'm ready to go back when I can really get my drink on!

A glass of wine in my hand would have made this even better!

Our little tagalong, enjoying cheerios on the patio

The next morning, we headed back to San Francisco for our last day. As we drove back over the Golden Gate Bridge, Brody was amazed at how big it was (he was asleep when we drove over it the first time.) We spent the afternoon at the Academy of Sciences and then at Fisherman's Wharf before enjoying a very yummy clam chowder and seafood cioppino dinner at the Tadich Grill. It was a perfect vacation, if you can call it that, and we look forward to going back again soon!

Touching the starfish...I don't think we were actually supposed to remove it from the water!
