Cabin Fever

Last weekend our Dinner Club headed out to Alexandria for a weekend at Shoma and Mark's cabin.  We were so excited to get out on the water, do some skiing and hang out at the beach. Unfortunately, the weather decided not to cooperate, and it ended up raining all day Saturday and up until lunchtime on Sunday. Boo! We were stuck inside most of the time with five couples and 9 kids ages three and under, so it was a little chaotic at times, but thankfully we all know each other very well and are used to the craziness surrounding our families being together, so it was fun no matter. The kids got out on the boat on Saturday evening, in between rain showers, and had a great time running off some energy Sunday morning as they chased bubbles.  Brad even got out on Sunday to do some skiing, and Brody loved watching his Daddy ski slalom across the water, although he kept saying, "Daddy! You dropped your other ski! Daddy! You dropped your other ski! Go pick it up!" Fun times--can't wait to go back! Thanks, Shoma and Mark, for hosting ALL of us for a very fun-filled weekend!
