...like making some beautiful creations with sidewalk chalk (and playing with sticks!)
We also did a really fun science experiment using water marbles. I found this activity on pinterest and knew the boys would love it. You can buy bags of these tiny little beads that grow when they are soaked in water. I didn't tell the boys what would happen--I just gave them each a spoonful of beads in a big bowl of water. We also added drops of food coloring to their bowls to see what that would do. After about 6 hours, they were the size of marbles and squishy. So fun! They also absorbed the colored liquid and turned a lighter variation of each shade. We all loved this fun experiment and can't wait to do it again! (And if you want to try it at home, let me know before you buy some. I have more of these beads than we could ever use!)

Another fun project we tried out this week was something I like to call Sock Bubbles. We cut off the end of a water bottle, attached a sock to it, and then dipped the sock end into a homemade bubble solution. After that, we blew on it and made these really fun bubble snakes. We ended up having a bubble fight in the front yard, and it was super fun!
And lastly, Leyton created this dinosaur "museum" that I just had to share. So cute!
Yay for summer!
