Science Fair

Brody couldn't wait to participate in the science fair at school this year. He came running home with his sign-up sheet in hand, begging me to let him do it. Mom, on the other hand, was maybe not so excited. But, I rallied and helped him come up with an idea, complete the experiment, and create his presentation board. And in doing so, I remembered how fun it is! :)

He had received a science experiment kit for Christmas, so we decided to choose one of the projects from there. I knew which one he would pick, and I was right! Will eating Pop Rocks and drinking Coke at the same time cause your stomach to explode? We couldn't wait to find out!

No explosion, but still super fun! We worked on putting his board together the night before the fair, and that night, he couldn't wait to show off his work and answer questions from the visiting students and parents. He picked out his finest (and geekiest) ensemble to wear, and played the part of Science Guy to a T.

Science Fair #1 complete! I am sure this was the first of many in my future. :)
