Dancin' Shoes!

Leyton is super duper quadruple excited to be taking dance classes this fall. He is trying out tap, jazz, and ballet, and he could not be more thrilled. After attending a birthday party a couple months ago in a dance studio and performing a dance for the parents, I just had a feeling that dance class was where he belonged. He loved performing and watching himself in the mirrors, plus all the costumes were the icing on the cake! When I brought it up to him, he said yes without hesitation. When he tried on his tap and ballet shoes for the first time, you should have seen that smile. And his first day of class? He was so focused, tried so hard, and was just so happy to be there! I am excited for him! I feel like we might have found something that he loves and will want to continue. And for me, it's so great to be back in a dance studio after so many years. Some of my best memories were in dance class and onstage as a kid, and it's really fun to be able to share my love of dance with my little guy!
