Very Important Kid

brody shares his poster as his little brothers get tips on public speaking

Brody was the VIK, or Very Important Kid, in his kindergarten class last week. As the VIK for the week, the students create a poster telling the class about themselves. They also get to bring in a guest reader to read their favorite book from home along with a few other exciting things. Brody loved creating his poster and wanted it to be filled with pictures on both sides. We had fun browsing thru many of our family photos and choosing which ones to include. I thought he would be shy about getting up in front of his class and sharing his poster, but he wasn't at all. He did a great job! I came as the guest reader and read The Spider and the Fly to the class after his presentation. Way to go, Mr. VIK!
