As usual, we stirred up lots of fun despite the brisk air and unwelcome white stuff on the ground. The boys helped me dye eggs on Saturday...
On Sunday, we woke up to lots of fun treats from the Easter Bunny...
Then we headed outdoors for an egg hunt in our p.j.'s. This was our first experience hunting eggs in the snow. The boys didn't seem to mind...
After a beautiful Church service (I LOVE the Easter service with the trumpets!) we had the Reierson Family over for brunch. It was delicious and actually the first meal I had prepared in our kitchen since January (thank goodness my morning sickness was finally coming to an end!) I probably consumed an entire dozen deviled eggs. Love those things!

That afternoon, we headed out for a quick walk. The sun was out but it was pretty chilly, so we didn't make it very far. The boys tried out their bubble blowers from the bunny, and then we headed out to see a movie, The Croods. It was a lovely day. I so look forward to Easter every year and the hope and new life that it brings. Especially here in Minnesota, where everything has been white and "dead" for the past few months, it is so nice to welcome spring and know that the best is yet to come!
No good family pics this year--total bummer--but that just means we were too busy enjoying our day to stop and smile for the camera!
