The boys received sleds for Christmas from Grandma and Grandpa, so we decided we just had to test them out over Winter Break. We headed over to a fairly steep hill that Brad and Brody had been to before. We had gotten quite a bit of snow, but this particular hill had been well-used, so the snow was mostly packed and veeeeerrrryyy slippery and fast! Brody was a total daredevil, taking a jump on his first time down. The rest of us took our time warming up, starting down the hill closer to the bottom instead of at the very top. But by the end, we were all zooming! Note to self: next time, make them wear helmets!!
