Berry Patch Grad!

Congratulations to our big boy Brody! He has officially graduated from preschool and will be a big kindergartner next year! I seriously can't believe it.  Even though we waited a year to send him on, I still feel sad that time is moving so fast. Where did my baby go?

The graduation ceremony was absolutely adorable. The kids greeted us as we walked in the door and helped us find our seats, offering refreshments. So cute! Then they posed for some snapshots with their friends.

After Ms. Ann seated her class on the rug, she read a story about how magnificent each one of them is and how they can do anything. Then she called each student by name, presenting them with their own "crown" covered in words that described him/her. She also told little stories about why each word represented each boy/girl. Brody's crown had the words "magnificent," "leader," "generous," and "creative." She told stories about how much he loves to do art projects and draw, and how he always takes the time to make drawings for each of his friends. This is so true--even at home one of his favorite things to do is make elaborate drawings and then label them with each of his friend's name to give them to later. Ms. Ann then presented each student with a gift from her as well as their Berry Patch graduation t-shirt. It was a perfect little ceremony, and the kids were just adorable. It was so sweet to see how excited all the kids were for each other, and how they laughed and got so excited each time they heard a story about one of their friends. I don't think there was a dry mama eye in the room!
