Texas Holiday Adventures Part 4: Christmas in Taylor

After spending Christmas with Oma and Opa in Eagle Lake, it was time to head to Taylor to visit with Grandaddy, Grandma, and Aunties Allyson and Bethany, along with the extended crew of relatives there.

But first, a (too) quick visit with some friends I've known my whole life but haven't seen since Brody was a baby!!  It was wonderful to catch up with these ladies and their sweet little girls!

Once we arrived in Taylor, the fun continued. Christmas with the Miller family is quite an experience, and one I look forward to each year (or every other year as it has been lately.)  This crazy family LOVES to sing Christmas carols before opening presents and we ALL have to participate, including singing a solo part of The Twelve Days of Christmas and attempting to sing Silent Night and O Christmas Tree in German.  It's pretty hilarious! After presents, my dad always reads a version of The Night Before Christmas, and its so fun to see how excited my boys were this year to watch Grandaddy in action!

later that day, leyton got his head stuck (yes, stuck!) in the railing...grandaddy had to come to the rescue and unscrew one of the pieces so we could get it out!
