Attack on the Sugar Bugs

Leyton had his first REAL dentist's appointment today, and he was such a champ!  My little guy is growing up! ) When he was two, we took him in for a quick check, just to have the dentist "count" his teeth and get him accustomed to opening his mouth.  It was a total disaster, and he refused to let anyone look in his mouth.  Fast forward a year, and he sat through the entire cleaning without so much as a peep.  Mommy was so proud!  Leyton 1, Sugar Bugs 0!  No signs of cavities, but even better, the front tooth that had recently turned a dark gray and we feared was "dead," is now slowly turning more white again.  The dentist said it is nothing to worry about and very common.  It might never be fully white again, but it looks much better than it did a couple of months ago!  All Leyton cared about was getting a sticky snake like Brody got a few months ago.  I couldn't believe he remembered and wanted the same thing, but I think he would have done anything for the dentist just to earn his sticky snake.  Thank goodness they had one in the prize box!
