Fall is (not) in the air!

Today is October 10, nearly the middle of October, and we are in the midst of a near two-week stretch of days that have been in the 80's. Everywhere you look, the leaves are turning beautiful colors and falling all over the place, but the cool, crisp air that you would expect around here is nowhere to be found! Now don't get me wrong..I've lived here long enough to know that winter is right around the corner and I should be basking in this glorious Indian summer. But, it's kind of weird all at the same time. I love the fall weather, so this is just a little bizarre. Plus, I'm worried that we're going to go straight from summer to winter, and that's just not cool!
We headed out to Minnetonka Orchards this past weekend for some fall fun. I don't think we've ever worn shorts to the apple orchard before! Again, not complaining, but I was definitely craving cold water over the hot apple cider and warm apple donuts that I usually can't wait to taste. It was still a great day and a perfect way to tire out three busy boys!

Trying to get these men on the move to stand still long enough for this shot was next to impossible.  We gave it our best effort!
