'Tis the Season!

Preschool is out for two whole weeks!! What's a frazzled mom to do? I predict lots of baking, book reading, and Memory games in my future...but it will be lots of fun with my little men!

The boys are getting in the spirit around here and so excited for Christmas to finally arrive. Today we donated a few toys to Toys for Tots at a fun little gathering with some of Brody's preschool friends. I thought that was such a good idea and hope that my boys learn the true joy of giving as we celebrate the season.

Last weekend we "enjoyed" quite the blizzard around here, so we found some fun things to do indoors to pass away the time, aka a cookie baking marathon! On Friday, before the snow hit, we headed out to the downtown Macy's for their 8th floor animated puppet exhibit. The boys loved it, but I think they enjoyed their cookies afterward even more! The rest of the weekend was spent keeping warm inside our cozy house, with a warm fire, yummy soup, a plethora of Christmas movies, and plenty of fresh-baked cookies to keep our bellies happy! Here are some pictures to share...

It's Cookie Time!

Yum Yum! We shared our cookies with some friends at our Cookie Party on Monday.

I'll take one of those turtle cookies, please! They look just like I remember. Thanks.
