Oma came to visit right before Callan's arrival, and just like any good grandma, she stayed around for a week to help out! It was great having her here, and I know Brody and Leyton enjoyed having lots of time to spend with her while I was in the hospital, not to mention the extra spoiling with all the fun things they convinced her to buy while she was here!
The first night she arrived, we headed out with the Springborns to Minnehaha Falls for some playtime and dinner at the yummy Sea Salt restaurant. I was literally about to pop, and I thought for sure that climbing the stairs back up from the falls would put me in labor--as you now know, it didn't work! But we had fun anyway!

Oma also celebrated her birthday while she was here. According to Facebook, she turned 110 years old, but I won't give away her real age!! We headed out to see the GrandSmiths for lunch and celebrated the special day with a delicious birthday cake!
Thanks for all your help during the last week, Oma! We loved having you here!
