Happy Golden Birthday, Brody!

Today Brody turned 4 on the 4th, which means it's his Golden Birthday! This lovely event only happens once in a lifetime, so we wanted to make it extra special for him! We started out the morning by letting him tear into his big pile of presents, which included a brand new fishing pole (that's not pink!) and lots of Legos. After breakfast and his last day at camp, Grandma came over to take the big B to McDonald's for lunch. Then he spent the afternoon with Daddy building his new Lego firetruck. Before dinner, we had our very first Skype call with Granddaddy, Grandma, Aunt Allyson, and Aunt Bethany. Then we let Brody choose where he wanted to go for dinner. He picked Punch Pizza, which got a big thumbs up from me! After dinner, we headed over to Rustica to let Brody pick out his birthday dessert. He chose a fabulous brownie cake that we all shared at home together. It was a great day for a great boy! I can't believe he is already 4!!

Next weekend we are having a joint birthday party for Brody and Leyton at Chuck E. Cheese's. They are so excited, and I am excited to not have to do all the work this time! Stay tuned for pictures from the big event!
