Expressions

Baby Callan turned two weeks old on Tuesday, and he is doing great! I took him to the pediatrician's office on Monday for his first check-up, and the doctor declared him "perfect!" His weight was up to 8 pounds, 12 ounces and his length was 21 1/4 inches, so he is definitely a growing boy! Our littlest man is proving to be quite a good baby so far, and we are really hoping that sticks. I don't see his personality being quite as easygoing as Leyton's, but I can't complain at all either. So far, he seems to be much like Brody was as a newborn. He loves to be held, rocked, bounced, and swaddled. He cries when he's hungry or when he's tired and wants to be soothed and settled. Other than that, he continues to sleep for most of the day with alert periods here and there where he likes to look around and make funny little newborn faces. I forgot about all the funny expressions that newborns make, but I could literally sit and stare at him for hours! Take a look at some of Callan's many expressions...
