Baby Talk

Leyton is starting to use words more and more, and he has the cutest little baby voice when he talks! In the past couple of weeks, he's even started stringing words together into phrases, and I'm really impressed with how well he's communicating AND how well I can understand him. It's not always easy, but it's even cuter when you don't know what he's saying because then he'll add this adorable "peees" at the end. (Unfortunately, he hasn't realized that even by saying please, I can't always make out what he's asking for. But I certainly appreciate his good manners!) Brody thinks it's great that Leyton can say words, and when he hears him say a new one, he'll say, "Leyton has a new trick!" Both boys love to sit at lunch and play the copycat game. Brody says one word and then Leyton repeats it. I took some video this week of Leyton practicing his verbal skills. Hope you enjoy!
