Boy Heaven

It's not often that you have your sidewalks replaced, and when we bought our house last year, that was certainly not something at the top of our to-do list. However, whether we wanted to or not, the City of Minneapolis sent us a letter to inform us that some of our panels had to come out. The construction crew came out Monday afternoon to break up and remove the old panels, dig out the grass along the sides, and outline each square with boards for the cement to go in. At 7 am on Tuesday morning, the cement truck started making the rounds, and all the neighborhood kids were up super early to hang out in our front yard and watch the excitement! We spent the whole morning out there. I would say that it was cheap fun, but then again, I haven't yet seen the bill!
