Last weekend was a busy one for the Smith Family as we had lots of things planned with family and friends. Friday evening we spent out in Wayzata at Brad's parents' house, hanging out with Aunt Emily, Uncle Joe, and cousins Finn and Aidan. We really enjoyed their visit and I know Brody had a great time with AJ in their art class during the week. Wish they would come back to visit more often! (But they're not crazy--they live in California! Who wants to come here?)
Saturday was COLD--really! Somewhere in the 60's. I know what all you Texans are thinking, but when you live for the three short months of summer after arctic winters, you want every warm day you can possibly get. We had plans to go to Sharon and Steffen's for a pizza party to welcome Baby Harry to the group. The kids had a great time playing in the sandbox, and Brody and Leyton enjoyed their adventures on Mia and Lily's girly pink outdoor toys!

On Sunday, we enjoyed our monthly brunch with the Wards, Wahls, and this time our friends Becky and Paul Brown joined us. Brad was unable to attend this weekend as he had to work, so I had to corral the two kids all by myself. Fun times! After brunch, Oma arrived from Texas. Yay! Can't wait to post lots of pics from her visit! (Oma, you better get busy and send me all the pictures!)
