Are You Cravin' What I'm Cravin'?

This is probably really sad to admit, but one of the most exciting things we did last week was drive to the new Sonic in Bloomington to get a cherry limeade.  You see, I was raised on Sonic chili cheese coneys and cherry limeades (every Tuesday night after dance class,) and every time we go back to Texas I can't wait to stop at one and get my fill.  When we moved to Minnesota, we would regularly see the commercials on TV, just teasing and taunting us with their pictures of warm, greasy cheese tots, gooey ice cream sundaes, and fruity slushies.  For whatever reason, the commercials would air but there was no Sonic to be found!  That all changed a few weeks ago when a Sonic finally opened it's doors--wait, make that drive-ins--near our house.  We had to wait a few weeks for the crowds to ease up, but now that they have, I have to say that I went there three days in a row!  You can't beat the half price Happy Hour every day from 2-4 when you can get a Route 44 Cherry Limeade for $1.10!  It's the perfect mommy treat on those hot afternoons when the boys are napping in the car--and it's way cheaper than Starbucks!

That drink is practically as big as my little boy!
