This Worm's For You, Oma!

Ever since the snow melted and you can actually see the grass, Brody wants to go out and dig for worms in the yard.  Hmmm, he must remember that really fun time when Oma dug up the weeds in our yard and she let him play with the worms she found.  And/Or, he remembers the time late last fall when Mommy planted bulbs and let him drive no fewer than 20 earthworms around in his dump truck.  Each time we go out, he walks around looking for holes in the yard that might be hiding these beloved creatures.  If I'm not careful, he starts digging away.  We are going to have one filthy summer if he's already started this now!  However, I can't complain too much.  It's better that he digs outside than in my indoor potted plants--which he has done several times over the winter.  Talk about mess!
